I can't log in
Trouble signing in to iTweet? Pick the situation that matches yours below. If none fits exactly, start with Account Recovery.
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?
- Enter the email or phone number on your account.
- Open the 6-digit code we send (valid 10 minutes) and paste it into the app.
- Choose a new password of at least 8 characters mixing letters and numbers.
All other devices are signed out automatically. Go to Reset your password to start.
Didn't get the code? Check spam, wait 60 seconds and tap Resend, confirm the address is correct, or try SMS instead of email (and vice versa).
Act quickly — every minute counts.
- Reset the password now from Forgot password. This immediately signs the attacker out of every session.
- If the email on the account was changed, use the "This wasn't me" link in the change-notification email we sent — that link reverts the email for 14 days.
- Turn on Two-Step Verification from Settings → Security. Save your 10 backup codes offline.
- Review Login Activity and end any sessions you don't recognize.
- Revoke access for any third-party apps you don't use.
- Change the password of the email account tied to iTweet — if that email is also compromised, the attacker can re-enter.
- Report unauthorized posts, messages, or purchases from Settings → Support — iTweet can help remove them and roll back Play Store charges made in the last 24 hours.
If you can't sign in at all, open a manual recovery request — see Account Recovery, section 6.
You can still recover through:
- A backup code you saved when enabling Two-Step Verification.
- A trusted device that's still signed in — approve a login from there.
- Manual identity review with a selfie video, if you have an ID verified account.
- Codes are time-based — check your device's clock is set to automatic.
- Try one of your 10 backup codes; each code works only once.
- If you lost the authenticator, use "Try another way" on the 2SV screen to receive an SMS or email code.
- Still stuck? Open a manual recovery request. iTweet can disable 2SV after identity verification.
Accounts are disabled when we detect serious or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Use.
If you believe this was a mistake, tap Request review on the disabled-account screen. Reviews are handled by a human within 3–14 days. You'll get the outcome by email.
- Search your inbox for messages from @itweet.online — the sign-up confirmation shows your username.
- Check Google account → "Third-party sign-in" for an iTweet entry if you used Sign in with Google.
- Ask a friend to look up your profile on iTweet; your username is on your profile page.
iTweet challenges logins that look risky — new device, new country, or unusual timing. Confirm the login from the email we send, or enter the SMS code. If challenges keep failing, switch to Wi-Fi (some mobile networks trigger extra checks), then try again.
- Update iTweet from Google Play — older versions may fail Play Integrity checks.
- Clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → iTweet → Storage → Clear cache). Do not clear data unless you've saved your password.
- Reboot your device.
- Reinstall the app.
iTweet uses Google Play Integrity to make sure requests come from a genuine, unmodified app on a certified device. If you see an integrity error:
- Reinstall iTweet from the official Google Play Store.
- Disable app-cloning, dual-space, or accessibility overlays.
- On rooted or emulator devices, sign in on a certified device instead.
Check your connection: switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, disable VPNs, and try again. iTweet requires HTTPS access to *.itweet.online.
Only the account owner can recover an account. For safety we never restore access based on a third-party request. Ask them to follow the steps above from their own device.
Open Contact Support with your username, the email/phone on file, and a short description of what happens when you try to sign in. Do not share your password with anyone — iTweet staff will never ask for it.
